PDF Preflight and Fit-for-Purpose Checking Service
Preflight checking for printing suitability including:

Fit for Purpose checks components (such as cover and plate sections) will work as intended with the text (for example, they are all the correct size to match a brief) and are print-ready, so will not be rejected by the printers.

Working from home to fit around the needs of a young family, I offer digital prepress and design services freelance to the printing and publishing trades, individuals and self-publishers. With over 25 years experience in the Print Industry, largely in digital printing and pre-press, but also around book binding and finishing, I have an all-round knowledge of book manufacture. Using this knowledge I can identify potential manufacturing issues before they occur. I have a keen eye for detail and aesthetics, offering simple professional designs to suit tight budgets.
Because of it’s bespoke nature, all work is quoted on sight of files/material before work commences. Most minor amendments to PDF files can be affected within my minimum charge of £15. Cover designs start from £60, and book designs from 50p per page plus a small set-up charge. T's & C's
